Miami, FL, July 29th, 2009.– (F & F Media Corp.) In the midst of the music industry’s near-crisis status, “The Last,” Aventura’s June 6th release, exploded on the scene with spectacular record sales as reported by Nielsen SoundScan. Less than 2 months following commercial release, “The Last” had earned the group Double Platinum with more than 200 thousand units sold.

Premium Latin Music, Inc. recently presented each of the four members with a commemorative plaque, which features shining, cool colors to reflect their brilliant career.

The cross-cultural phenomena known as Aventura, through the band’s unique style and personal take on the Dominican genre known as Bachata, has ascended a pedestal of importance throughout the world. That Romeo, Lenny, Mikey and Henry have achieved star status is clearly demonstrated by a multicultural, international fan base that follows them from concert to concert.

Aventura’s surprising brush with the Anglo mainstream market aptly demonstrates the meeting of two cultures, as Aventura crossed all barriers to debut at #5 on the Billboard Hot 200.

“Su Veneno,” the third promotional video in support of “The Last,” is one of the most sought out videos on international music channels. The audio single is also percolating throughout the world.

Aventura is an exclusive recording artist under the auspices of Premium Latin Music, Inc., an independent label distributed by Sony Music in the U.S. and certain Latin American countries.
